Mr. Gerald J. Carasea

“If they’re playing with confidence, they’re marching with confidence.”

Mr. C served as the beloved band director at Cloverleaf High School for 34 years where he was a mentor and role model for many teachers and students.

Mr. C’s high energy, sharp focus and love of everything musical were instrumental in his success as a father, husband, friend, Challenger baseball coach, musician, music teacher, band director, music contest judge and educational music consultant.

Mr. C marched to the beat of his own drum…and he made sure we all followed him…and he made it fun…and he made us better people for it.

The Gerald J. Carasea Endowment Fund

The Gerald J. Carasea Endowment Fund has been formed for the purpose of providing scholarships to graduating Seniors of Cloverleaf High School to assist with the cost of a post-secondary education.

The Gerald J. Carasea Endowment Fund will be soliciting funds via letter, email, Facebook and eventually through the creation of an annual fundraising event.

Once recipients are identified, their scholarship monies will be sent directly to the post-secondary institution they have chosen to attend.

Other types of requests from the Cloverleaf Local Schools Music Departments, such as help with supplying instruments or music or assisting with pay to participate fees, may also be considered.

The Gerald J. Carasea Endowment Fund is a Section 501(c) (3) charitable organization, EIN 84.3016777. All donations are deemed tax-deductible absent any limitations on deductibility applicable to a particular taxpayer.
